+ What is your expertise?
As a board-certified, Harvard-educated physician, I am one of the few psychiatrists with a foundation in engineering and technology innovation. I started my career as an entrepreneur and continued innovating to the bleeding edge of modern data science and predictive behavioral analytics. Before earning my Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania and my Master of Public Health from Harvard University, I attained a Bachelor of Science in Operations Research Engineering from Cornell University. In addition, I completed my Psychiatry Residency at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School’s flagship teaching hospital.
Prior to launching my own practice, I worked as the Head of Clinical programs for Ginger.io and also served as a both a clinical and administrative leader with Kaiser Permanente Northern California. In this role I worked directly with patients, trained medical students and residents, and earned the prestigious Kaiser Federation Garfield Award at the Division of Research to build, study, and evaluate my new approaches to care.
Throughout my career I have been honored to work with a wide variety of colleagues, patients, mentors, and leaders in healthcare, technology, and business. It is through this enriching human experience that I continue to learn and fine tune my practice in the art and science of psychiatry.
